Kung Fu / Tai Chi

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese movement art which is practiced by millions of people worldwide, and is renowned for its health benefits.

The Cordova Bay Tai Chi Club is a small informal group, where members study the fundamentals of Tai Chi with a focus on balance, posture, breathing, and movement based on the principles of Yin and Yang.  New students may be accommodated into the existing regular practice sessions. After learning a few basic concepts, the students may begin learning the 89 movements of the classical Chen Tai Chi form, as well as a few simple Qi Gong exercises such as the popular 8 Silk Brocades form. As they progress, students may also learn the martial art concepts and applications to self-defence.

Jow Gar Kung Fu and Chen style Tai Chi, are held downstairs.  Drop-ins are welcome — come and check out either one or both, no obligation!
